Introduction
Basixly ("we", "us", "our") is a client onboarding and asset collection platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our services.
Data We Collect
We collect account information (name, email), company details you provide, client contact information, and uploaded files. We also collect usage data to improve our services.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to provide the Basixly service — managing clients, projects, onboarding flows, asset collection, and project phase tracking. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Subscriptions & Payments
We process payments through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment provider. We store your subscription tier, billing cycle (monthly or annual), and a Stripe customer identifier, but we never see or store your full card details — those are handled entirely by Stripe.
Data Storage & Security
All data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Files uploaded through Basixly are stored in secure cloud storage with access controls. Row-level security ensures each account can only access its own clients, projects, and assets.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support or using the account deletion option in Settings.
Plan Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Manage Subscriptions. When you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of your current billing period — you retain full access to all features and data during this time. After the billing period ends, your account reverts to the free trial tier. Your clients, projects, assets, and onboarding data are not deleted immediately; they remain accessible so you can export them. If you do not return to a paid plan, your data is retained for 30 days before permanent deletion. You can export all project and client data as CSV files at any point before or after cancellation.
Client Data
Your clients' information (name, email, uploaded assets) is collected through onboarding portals and branded upload links. This data is associated with your account and is not used for marketing purposes. Clients do not need to create accounts to submit information or files.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can export your data at any time using the built-in export tools. You can also permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings.
